Jun 18,  · As with all Wilt albums, there seems to be a theme to this CD. Picture searching an old, broken down, abandoned factory in the middle of the night. During your search you come to see that there is a set of railroad tracks outside of the building that may have at one time been a populated train station - but now is just a dark, eerie place/5.

Wilt extol the invisible corners of a thirsty earth with an exaltation of decay and reclamation. Best described as Noise Ambient, Wilt is an aural quagmire of dusky vapors and ivy draped relics, grating erosions and the thorny shadows that rise and fall across dying landscapes.

Here it is. Released after Wilt’s amazing debut album “The Black Box Aesthetics” and a couple of months Ad Noiseam’s release “Amidst a spacious fabric” (which is out now by the way), “Wither” is a noisy offering from America’s best dark ambient musician of the moment.

“Untitled” completes the album with layers of overlapping feedback, eternally shifting in shape over the course of its 26 minutes. Objects Of Memory is like the initial unrest that indicates the imminence of something terrible – the slightest rustle of activity that breathes ominous life and caution into a stagnant silence. A beautifully made record.

After moving to Tokyo early Kennedy began work on the album. Amidst language and work issues his rosey outlook soon dimmed and what follows is Kennedy's exploration and loneliness in this foreign land. Previous musical similarities may be unearthed but what runs through this record is a vein of (dare I say) mature introspection which sets.
